oh please ... storm and cyclops are easily repleacable characters .. while halle had the storm look, she in no way made any difference to that role at all. Cyclops, while ok hasn't had much attention till now to begin with.
Singer's the only real loss here. everything else seems fine.

Exactly, Storm and Cyclops both stood there and did not really do anything, while it was nice to have characters we know and love their, we really aren;t going to miss them, especially since the younger people are going to play more a of a role.

Over at AICN they are reporting Famke may have gotten the role of Lara Superman's mother. This is so confusing, is she in or out for X3?

Just when I thought the casting couldnt get any funnier.
Singer does realize shes only 39 and shes playing mother to a character in his late 20s?

Yes, I think he does realize she is only 39 years old. That's why a couple of weeks ago he cast 80 year old Eva Marie Saint in the role of Clark's mother.

I just think the whole SUPERMAN thing is going to end up being a wash and that it's far too soon to be making another one of these.. He should've just finished off X-MEN with a Trilogy, then moved on..

Famke is on Last Call right now, and she said she wants to do the next X-men movie, and sounds like she expects to.
