I know, how? Well, it got a lot of votes (over 20), and 5 people had it in their top 5, with 1 at #1

Pulp Fiction, other very good but overrated movie. I didn't even rate it
because it's been so long since I've seen it. Just not my kind of movie.

#8 JURASSIC PARK

FUCK YES! Hahaha, it's by no means a film I'd rank anywhere this high, but it brings back such great memories from my childhood.

Jurassic Park, the 8th best movie of all time? Is that a joke? Hahaha. I mean, I like it too, but...

Anyway.

As Good As It Gets certainly does not appear on the list. I'm glad to see my #1 ranking for it did absolutely nothing!

I seriously can't figure that one out. Where has the gushing Park love been on KJ? Very left field in think.

By god it did beat Jaws.

Still, like you my childhood memories are too much to knock this film.

So:

Shawshank Redemption
Return of the King
Fellowship of the Ring
Empire Strikes Back
The Matrix
The Godfather
As Good As It Gets?

That's about where I have it on my non seperated films list.

I remember as a kid, loving dinosaurs, and this was the first movie to make me feel like they were actually alive. I loved it. It's still great.

Jurassic Park holds a special place with me. It's the first film I saw 3 times in
the theater. I'm a huge dinosaur nut, or at least was at the time it came out.
I have a huge respect for the groundbreaking nature of the film. It pains me to
say that it does not deserve to be anywhere near this ranking. I had it at #36.

Lecter said in the Review thread for it that it's his all time favorite movie, and others expressed very fond memories of it. That always helps.

I'd say it appeared on the most lists, or at least was among the top 3 or so.

5 people had it in their top 10. One had it as #1. Ten people had it in their top 20, and a total of 26 people voted for it. It's just huge.
