Lots of "just north of rotten" movie recently. Good, but not awe-inspiring. S&V started off well, but descended, Syriana was well done but not all too itrospective, and Rent was just like the musical. Didn't mean I personally enjoyed it, but it was as strong a theatre to film adaptation as it could be considering the source material.
