At least Mike has based his passion on the book he read. So there's palpable material there. I don't see it as being that weird. I'm just finishing up The Dark Tower books and the movie has become certainly the one I look forward a lot. I can understand him.

Started it the night of the morning I finished it a second time  . If all I wanted were sexual gratification there are other ways to get that. I just find the whole story and writing beautiful. I want to live inside this book. So forgive me if I have an unhealthy obsession with this project. I don't think I should have to apologize for being passionate about it. What makes my excitement for this any different than those of Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings fans? They were incredibly excited for those films and eager for any new news. I'm incredibly excited for this.

I'm not really a fan of it myself. Love the blue but it could have been so much better. I had always kind of envisioned something along the lines of the My Summer of Love poster given the scene of them lying in the grass.

Then they can film the ending of the book. That's certainly not long enough for a whole movie. Obviously he'd have to add quite a bit. But who am I kidding? I'd still be looking forward to one very much if it were made.
