Re: Rank the 2010s Best Picture winners
I always thought the runner up in 2012 was either Lincoln or Silver Linings Playbook (I don't know how Russell will top that one.

Re: Rank the 2010s Best Picture winners
It's funny how forgettable these winners are in context. And I liked/loved four of them.
1. 12 Years A Slave 2. Birdman 3. Argo 4. Spotlight 5. The King's Speech 6. The Artist
The latter two movies suck. And The Artist is maybe the most forgettable Best Picture winner ever.

When LLL wins it'd easily be on the top of this list. And if Moonlight somehow wins that'd be at the top too.

Re: Rank the 2010s Best Picture winners
None of them make me cheer... they're all good, but just "good."
I voted for Birdman as it had the best script, unpredictable and clever.
Birdman The Artist Argo 12 Years The King's Speech
Still haven't seen Spotlight.

Re: Rank the 2010s Best Picture winners
Birdman actually had a great ending come to think of it. Almost made up for how pretentious it was.

Re: Rank the 2010s Best Picture winners
Birdman is probably the most memorable, The King's Speech is the best story, The Artist is the best feel-good throwback. Argo I honestly don't remember, and 12 Years a Slave was good but not great.
1. Birdman 2. The King's Speech 3. 12 Years a Slave 4. The Artist 5. Argo
Haven't seen Spotlight.

I haven’t watched any of the 2010 best picture winners more than once. I wonder what future people like us will think of this decade.

Of that group Green Book is probably the most likely to be a staple rerunning on TV. But cable TV is on its way out anyways.
