The Largest movie theater chain in Mexico (Cinepolis) is implementing assigned seating soon and im pretty sure theyre going to rise the ticket price. They were only a part of their VIP and 4Dx concepts.
Im all for it, i just dont want to pay more...

At the midnight showing I went to for TDKR, twice someone from the theater came and announced it was sold out and asked if everyone could "squish" towards the middle if they knew the seats were not taken so people didn't have to fight there way across 20 peoples laps. Neither time they asked did I see a single person budge. What I wonder was, I still saw empy seats near me when it started. Did people not show up, or did some opt to sit on the floor so they could sit together?
