Fair enough. Thats a good enough reason to hate it. It is a kids film, but fair do's.

For a movie to get an "F" it would have to be so Godawful bad right down the line from Acting, Editing, Directing, FX, EVERYTHING and neither one of these 2 films were THAT bad.. You know Damn well they weren't.. I'd accept it more if you just said the movies had a grade of "C" or even a "D".. No way these movies were an "F".. Yeah everything about AVP and White Noise sucked....SOrry :???:

Sorry but that's Bogus... It merely boils down to you being too nitpicky cause neither one of these 2 movies deserve a Grade of "F".. You want to give it a "D"?? That I would accept, but for a movie to receive an "F" It would have to fail on all levels and the box office for both films certainly does not indicate a grade of "F"... Your like an old lady.. You don't like any movie..

Oh, goodness. I do believe I forgot Blair Witch 2: Book of Shadows. That goes down as a F, as well. Mr. Deeds, though, Dkmuto? I think I gave that a B or so. I thought it was amusing enough. A fan of screaming, slapstick-y, hitting people in the head with tennis balls Adam Sandler, I am not.
Kind of sweet and funny though.

I agree. I thought the movie was boring and unmotivated, but the production values were too good to give it an F. But hey, that's just me.

BKB, if lovemerox thinks that AVP and White Noise are F worthy, then let him think that. You can't change his opinion.

Some movies are so bad they become almost watchable for their unintentional comedic effect (to a very small extent), like Battlefield Earth, the made for TV Star Wars Holiday Special, and Gigli. I have trouble grading flicks like that. Technically they are an F, but they can be fun to watch and trash with a group of people giving them some value.
Anyhow, other F's off the top of my head...
Naked Lunch
Life With Mikey
Who's Harry Crumb
Catwoman
Connie and Carla
From Justin to Kelly
BioDome
Hudson Hawk
It's A Wonderful Life

It's A Wonderful Life as an F? I agree that it was sappy and far overrated, but an F? Wow.

Just a personal thing. I realize that technically speaking it's nowhere near an F - if I was reviewing it for a publication, I wouldn't give it that grade. But, personally, I cringe everytime I see it. It's wayyy overplayed, wayyy too sappy and heavy handed. It probably didn't help that my parents forced me to watch it when I was a youngster despite my protests and I refused to like it. I showed them!

How can you not like Mr Deeds?! It's got everything you could ever want from a comedy! Who doesn't laugh when the pro-footballer gets whipped by his father's belt for cursing in front of women ("No daddy! NOOOO!!"), or when Conchata Ferrell responds to Winona Ryder's heartfelt declaration of love with "I'm sorry, all I heard was blah, blah, blah, I'm a dirty tramp."
And what about these gem-like quotes:
Crazy Eyes: Time heals all things... except these crazy eyes.
Pam Dawson (showing Deeds around her "childhood home" in Westchestertonfieldville): And this is my brother Denny's room,
[opens a closet door]
Pam Dawson: they didn't like my brother very much.
Little Kid: My daddy built this house with his bare hands.
Pam Dawson (smiling tenderly): Your daddy's a liar.
Comedy gold!

Monty Python is hilarious! I give F's to any Jason movie that is not the first one. Charlies Angels II sucked thats another F. Luckily I pick more good movies to watch than bad ones.
