Its going to be a classic movie that Double Dragon was unless Tekken and Dragonball give it some competition.

The posters look extremely cheap. It would have been ok if those posters were straight to dvd

The problem is, none of these suggestions are as bad as Raúl Juliá playing M. Bison. I'm going to suggest Connor Cruise for Cammy and Ron Perlman as Chun Li. Trivia time: in the Japanese version, Balrog (the boxer) was called M. Bison (an allusion to M. Tyson). Vega was called Balrog and M. Bison was called Vega. When the game was released in North America, they rotated the names of the final characters to avoid getting in trouble with Tyson's lawyers (I guess Sagat stayed Sagat because he'd been named in the first game).

No one would even recognize its Chun Li if not for the title of the film. The attire doesnt even match closely to the videogame

Re: Street Fighter - first reviews in - LOL!
Well its at 0% even if its only just 6 reviews. Could it be the first film since Ecks vs Sever to have no good reviews at all?

Re: Street Fighter - first reviews in - LOL!
I have new appreciation for the 1994 Street Fighter flick.
Everything is played so straight here. Bison's a blond Irish guy who just wants to make cash turning slums into high-rent homes. All the bad guys wear black fatigues. Chris Klein hams it up (I hope to God it's intentional). Robin Shou shows up long enough for me to cheer for him, simply because he's Liu Kang.
By my count, only seven Street Fighter characters show up in the movie: Chun-Li, Bison, Balrog, Vega, Gen, Nash, and Rose.

"I can't remember the last time I watched an actor fail to walk into a room convincingly, but Chris Klein does it. Look for a YouTube montage of his Street Fighter performance to pop up any day now."http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29431430/
