I should warn you that White Noise is not for everyone. However, being a fellow action fan and a fan of suspense-type thrillers, please go see Mindhunters. It's fantastic. \:D/

Only by two days. I'll count it's wide-release.

While that IS true, the public obviously likes having in '05. With the $16.5-ish it's made in '05 compared to the $.2m-ish it made in '04, it's obvious that audiences have accepted and made it feel "in good company" as an '05 film.

I saw Coach Carter today and I was completely blown away. I cou;dn't believe how good it was.
As the first 2005 released film, I find myself surprised to give it an A-, a grade that last year was awarded to Ray, F9/11, Closer, Bad Education, and The Aviator by me!

Also, why are some of you putting 2004 movies in this list?

I don't know, shouldn't In Good Company be considered 2005? I mean, it was only in 2004 for two days and that was in super limited release. I guess if it really goes in 2004, I'll move it.

I dunno. I'd put it in 2004 since it's technically a 2004 movie.
I mean....

The studio wanted it to be considered a 2004 movie so it could be up for 2004 awards, I guess.

So far I've only seen one movie in 2005, Elektra, which is an A+ for me. Haven't had much time for movies lately.

I was so close to giving it a B+ you have no idea, but straight after a film i tend to be a little hyped up about it, and try to accomodate the grade a little.

In the end it was too short for my to give it a B+, and the acting from Terrance Stamp left alot to be desired.... Yet its definately a huge massivo tonne better than critics are saying - and the mere comparison to Catwoman is totally cheeky.

I consider it a 2004 release. If it were nominated for a 2004 Oscar, it'd be weird to consider it a 2005 movie.
