I'm not good at all at ranking movies, and I don't think I could ever make a top 10 or top 100 for my favourite films EVER (because I just love a lot of films across a wide range of genres). But there is one film, I have always considered my #1 film ever when this question is asked. It's a film that affected me when in theatres like no other film did. I saw it numerous times in theatre, more times than any other film (I see most films only once and sometimes twice, that's about it). The film, it's real life story, the actors (specifically the love of my life Kate Winslet), the screenplay and everything just drew me to this film like no other. So, as a result, I would call TITANIC my favourite film ever. A lot of people scoff at that (Titanic got a big backlash because of it's huge success, which is ridiculous) but I still maintain it's an amazing film, this being represented in the 13 noms and 11 Oscars the film won, and how it captivated audiences across the world.

W00t! Great choice! *Hi-5*

The backlash against Titanic is a reflection of its tremendous success, but the film will in time find its right place among the great films. Hugely enjoyable, deeply moving.

The film that matured my movie tastes. I don't think I could ever make a top 10, that's way too hard, but I have no doubt this is my favorite film of all time.

I have a great sense of humor, when something is actually funny.

Now, its really annoying, that's what my inital comment said. You choose to laugh if off as if I wasn't serious, taking me from being moderately annoyed to really bloody pissed.

When you and the rest of the posters decide to quote 25 posts (and mind youin the process hijack a thread), your incessant quoting makes the thread partically unreadbale.

Let me clarify my exact feelings on this subject.

The incessant fucking quoting (done by several posters here at KJ) is really bloody annoying; its even more annoying when its hijacking a thread. So have a little fucking considersation in the future.

At least we agree on something, I don't care what you think either. I'd jsut like to read a thread without having to skip whole pages because its just quoted posts and nothing of substance.

I have nicely complained about the quoting issue before, it had no effect. it is the habit of sveral posters to do it, its always annoying.

When you say things like I'm not sorry and tell someone to get a sense of hunor when they are obviously annoyed you cannot expect them to respond with, "well gee, thanks". My attitude should not surprise you.

You just keep demonstrating why you are one of my favorites.

To get on topic: my second favorite film is The Godfather trilogy
