Before Sunset: Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy are fantastic and make completely real characters. The screenplay absolutely SHINES in this movie. Fantastic screenplay. The whole film is simple in terms of logistics and plot, yet the screenplay and the actors make it seem so complicated. Very well done film.

Notebook: Rachel McAdams is a bright young actress, and the story is simply wonderful. Just one thing, that really knocked the film down from getting a B+ or even A-. The whole "we're old and reflecting back on it" crap. Goodness, this totally interrupted the story for me, and I was not a fan of this at all. To have made this film that much better, CUT OUT THE SAPPY OLD PEOPLE STUFF. Of course, if could just be the demographics here, since I'm not exactly a senior, but regardless, I felt it was not well done. And the ending was lame and totally cliche. It completely distracted from what I thought the story was supposed to be about. Cut out this, and the rest of the story was awesome, beautiful, and real. So, overall, it gets a B. Some slight disappointment here, since I was hoping for better.

Mean Girls: Hilarious! Lindsay Lohan is terrific and Tiny Fet is a terrific writer. I wish she'd do more films. Pure fun.

The Grudge: Overall: "meh". Rather boring film, and very, very repetitive. Every "scary scene" is like "been there, done that". It felt the movie had almost no plot. The hightpoints of the film are Gellar, who is surpisingly very good and very real in this film, and the wonderful editing. Unfortunately, everything else were the films lowpoints.
