Re: Grade The Last Movie You Watched
New World Order - B
It is what is it.
The Assassination of a High School Principal - B
Started of very annoying with the narration going on again and again but I actually kind of got sucked into the story and ended up enjoying it.
Ronin - A
Classic enjoyable De Niro film but with plenty of other A listers in it as well. I really enjoyed the commentary which wasn't overly technical.
Gods and Monsters - A
I've listened to the commentary in the past by Condon and I enjoyed so I listened to it again. It's still a good audio. Makes me want to see if he did anything for Dreamgirls.
Wedding Crashers - A
It's a very good comedy but I was trying to see how the commentary was. That part wasn't as interesting. The director was okay to listen to but pretty forgettable and the Owen Wilson and VV commentary wasn't that interesting either. VV while having things to say really needed to speak up.

I saw A Serious Man yesterday, absolutely loved it. My second favorite Coen film behind No Country For Old Men.

Re: Grade The Last Movie You Watched
The Fourth Kind
I thought it was pretty interesting with some disturbing moments but not very scary. I was a bit confused after some short googling as to if any of the real footage was real or not. I don't mind going into a movie knowing it's totally fake like PA but when this one claims to be somewhat real I'd like to know if any of the video clips had any validity.
Battle of Algiers
I really enjoyed this movie. I like the history the setting and how it plays out. It felt very modern. It reminded me of a Tarantino style flick. I like how it's has a relevent meaning with what's happened in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Armored - C
Very generic heist film but a good cast helps it make it somewhat decent.

the Virgin Spring - A
Enjoyed the look, actors and acting. It held my attention and had me in suspense. A couple scenes are very intense.

TRAIN - C
Those eastern euro countries just can't shake the bad reputation of tourists being killed for "name your reason". I blame Hostel but I can't recall if there were films like that before it. What has happened to Thora Birch that she has to do these films now? Although, I actually did somewhat enjoy this simply because it didn't end like Eden Lake which I thought it was going to when the train stopped and there were soldiers hustling the conductor. Another thing I noticed was that one of the actors was in Rules of Attraction.

The Sky Crawlers - 7/10
First off, the film is gorgeous, but that's the only positive here. The characters are pretty dull and boring, while you're thrown into the story with little knowledge of what's actually happening. It wasn't made for someone who hasn't read the novel (me), that's for sure.

Star Trek - 8/10
Enjoyable movie, though I wanted a better villain.

Ink - 9/10 I believe many here would enjoy it.
Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian - 5/10 Kinda fun, but not near as good as the first, imo.

The Law of Desire - B
Interesting movie. Banderas was willing to do any type of role in his early days. Nice story. The tranny sister was good stuff. I liked her flair and pizzazz.

Away We Go - C
I just didn't find this movie very interesting. It certainly alot of capable people in it but it was just generic character after gc in each city they went to. I thought it was pretty average and not memorable.

Hi, Antichrist-C. This is not a new movie but I watched it yesterday.Antichrist is one more Trier-masterpiece,though not as great as 'Breaking The waves' or 'Dogville'.

Midnight Meat Train - D
Terrible. Terribly boring. Sick of the digital blood and the whole thing at the end was ridiculous.

GI JOE : Resolute - C
I thought it was a decent flick. Apparently it has something to do with adult swim from what I read. Anyway, it has good animation that's more refined compared to the original cartoons but still animation and not cg like the Clone Wars tv show. There are 3 plotlines going on at the same time. The most interesting is the Snake eyes/Storm shadow storyline. There is good action between them. There are deaths in this flick as they don't mind killing people off either. Overall, worth a rental.

Re: Grade The Last Movie You Watched
Fighting - B
Similar to Never Back Down. I thought it was a decent flick with good fight sequences.
I Can Do Bad All By Myself - B
I like Tyler Perry flicks and this one was decent I preferred the play much more however.
Taking Pelham 123 - B
Denzel playing the everyman role again and doing good again. I thought it was pretty interesting and had good drama. One thing I noticed was a shot where the price of gold was like 80,000$ or something. That was probably the most ridiculous thing of the whole movie.
Final Destination 3 - B
I caught this on tv yesterday and enjoyed it but it was edited. Yuck. I like all the FD flicks. I ended up buying the dvd from Target today for 5$.
