I'd love to go after Maverikk and Andaroo with my top 100 - unless anyone has any objections.

Tim Burton movies, 80s teen flicks and action movies, and most of all shiny metal robot asses!
Am I correct?

There may or may not be examples of all four of those on my list...

Jaws is good, but not number 1 movie material.

41. Goldfinger (1964) - This was the movie that convinced me that nobody does it better.
42. Dirty Harry (1971) - Eastwood's most famous screen icon, and it's not hard to figure out why he was so popular.
43. The Godfather (1972) - I can , like, just watch this everyday and never get bored.
44. Almost Famous (2000) - Saw this a few weeks back and was blown away!
45. Independence Day (1996) - Comfortably sitting in my top 3 of all time! The most rewatchable film ever!
46. Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein (1948) - Hysterically funny, and paved the way for horror comedies.
47. Fellowship of the Ring (2001) - A Masterpiece!
48. Scavenger Hunt (1979) - Tons of well known actors in a chaotic comedy race against eachother for a fortune.
49. The Princess Bride (1987) - The ultimate fairytale brought to life.
50. Batman (1989) - Love that Jack! Keaton was the best of the Batmans.

That isn't ringing any bells, so I don't think I have.

51. Unforgiven (1992) - Eastwood's masterpiece western!
52. The Two Towers (2002) - The battle of Helm's Deep makes the action in Return of the King underwhelming.
53. Arsenic and Old Lace (1944) - Frank Capra's classic comedy! Cary Grant is as good a comedian as Jim Carrey. Seriously!
54. Groundhog Day (1993) - Just a great comedy, and a great romantic comedy, too!
55. Superman 2 (1980) - Even better than the original!
56. Return of the Jedi (1983) - The Ewoks didn't bother me, Leia looked great in the bikini, and it was a great ending!
57. Lethal Weapon (1987) - Like Die Hard, it's just about a million steps above the lame action movies of the 80's.
58. The Nutty Professor (1996) - The dinner scenes with the Klumps alone make this a classic!
59. Something's Gotta Give (2003) - Love that Jack! The is a recent addition to my favorite's list.
60. Pride of the Yankees (1942) - The tragic story of Yankee great, Lou Gehrig. Gary Cooper was so good.

I've never seen any of the Superman movies.

Eh, I don't like this list as much as some of your other ones, but...

Groundhog Day, The Two Towers, and Unforgiven are favorites.

Almost Famous is AWESOME! Clooney sucked worse than the movie, which was actually not terrible, just nothing great. Clooney decided to play George Clooney instead of Bruce Wayne and Batman. He was terrible in comparison to Keaton (who was easily the best) and Kilmer, who smartly played Batman like Keaton did. Hopefully Christian Bale takes a cue from Keaton, as well. It makes Batman more menacing when he almost speaks in a whisper. Clooney made him sound like he was just a regular Joe on his way to a costume party.

Maverikk, you'll be happy to know that Bale adopts one voice for Bruce Wayne and another one for Batman.

Glad to hear that! Seriously, it's much more realistic that he would alter his voice if concealing his identity was an agenda, and if he wanted to put fear in people, altering it to be more ominous sounding would be the way to go.

61. The Shining (1980) - Love that Jack! Maybe the most unnerving movie I've ever seen.
62. Chasing Amy (1997) - Great Kevin Smith film that had to be conceived with fantasy thoughts.
63. Overboard (1987) - One of the best romcoms ever made!!!
64. Flash Gordon (1980) - I'm guilty of getting much pleasure from watching this.
65. American Beauty (1999) - Gripping, dark, and unsettling, but all parts are awesome!
66. The Private Eyes (1980) - Hysterical "whodunit" comedy will Don Knotts and Tim Conway playing bumbling detectives.
67. One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest (1975) - Love that Jack! Just one hell of a film from beginning to end!
68. Sin City (2005) - Frank Miller's work of art!
69. Terminator 2 (1991) - James Cameron would be better than Spielberg if his output matched Steven's.
70. King Kong (1933) - One of the earliest films that I ever saw, and it still holds up, even though it shouldn't.

Did I come into a thread and post when I wasn't supposed to? If so, I am sorry. I didn't know there was an order we were supposed to go in. Can I take a number and then do mine as well? I like how Mav is doing his bit by bit and then everyone comments on them. Can I start over aws well and then have you guys critique or comment on mine?
