Wow on TFS, I forget your comments on In Her Shoes but since that is no where and then MIL and WC are still hanging in there, think Libs had a good effect on you when she was suggesting movies for you.

With Rumors still coming looks like it has been a good year for comedies.

And she placed it above Crash!!!!!

Libs I'm in love with you right now!!!

PEACE, Mike.

8. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
9. The Corpse Bride
10. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

To repeat from an earlier post:

My problem is that I haven't seen enough of the new films. I can't always find the time to get to the movies like I would like and when I do go, I tend to want to see the blockbuster special effects kinds of films as opposed to the more "serious" fare, because I figure I can always watch the more serious stuff on DVD and not miss as much of the experience...

So catch me again in a year when I have seen Capote and Good Night and Good Luck and Cinderella Man and I am sure my list will look a lot different.

Other 2005 films I saw which did not make the list: Batman Begins, Hitch, Robots, Sahara, Star Wars

1. King Kong
2. North Country
3. Sin City
4. War of the Worlds
5. March of the Penguins

Haven't seen enough yet to make a complete list. I still have to see some films I am pretty sure will probably pop up onto my top ten list, including Munich, Brokeback Mountain, The Constant Gardener, A History of Violence (holy hell do I want to see this movie so bad!!! But the damn DVD doesn't come out until February... FEBRURARY!!! Grrrr. I am so tempted to just get an illegal copy, since I am going to buy the DVD anyways when it does come out, and the theatre run is over with, so I'm not hurting anyone. But I don't know where/how to get one.) Plus also some films I will eventually see, but I'm not as excited about, such as Walk the Line and Match Point, etc.

PEACE, Mike.
