Jesus, I've turned into Bradley Witherberry
Don't worry - - sooner or later everyone will come to see the light...
...in the meantime, please feel free to join me in the
Witherberry Truthtellers' Lounge to commiserate about the rise of hype over a cold beverage or two.

As most people here will know, I didn't bother seeing the big three movies (The Avengers, TDKR, and The Hobbit) that would likely dominate my list of the bottom 10 of 2012.
However, even with their exclusion, I couldn't pare my list down below 15 titles - - 2012 was just an exceptionally good year for bad movies.
In no particular order:
The Hunger Games
Holy Motors
Life of Pi
Wreck-It Ralph
Skyfall
Argo
Looper
Expendables 2
Ted
Prometheus
That's My Boy
Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World
Rock of Ages
The Pirates! Band of Misfits
Hugo
As Algren pointed out
Hugo was from 2011, so I will replace it with
Zero Dark Thirty, which seems to be performing well as propaganda on American audiences, but was a seriously dull film otherwise.
So, I think I've seen pretty much all I plan on seeing from 2012 (I'm skipping
Les Miserables because I don't want to spoil my memory of seeing the astounding live production years ago - - I'll just wait to see it live again one day) - - so
here is my final list cut down to the worst of the worst bottom 10:
Holy Motors
Life of Pi
Skyfall
Argo
Looper
Ted
Prometheus
Rock of Ages
The Pirates! Band of Misfits
Zero Dark Thirty
