That's impossibly low. Think how popular this will be in U.K. alone? What do they usually chip in to an international sci-fi/action/comedy, etc? Probably about 30-40 million? I don't know, I'm asking. This will be huge there if it doesn't suck. Maybe 40 million right? And Australia? Lets not forget where one of the lead characters is supposed to be from? 10 million? Maybe more. Even if the rest of the world only chips in 10 million dollars, that would mean U.S. and Canada would have to only contribute 40 million for it to not pass 100 mark. We gave Honey 30 million already. Its pretty safe we'll give it over 55 million. I still think if its any good it can near 90-100 here.

Sweetheart, this movie and it's humor will only appeal to a very small majority of moviegoers here and really the studio responsible for bringing this to life should release it at a different time of the year and not the summer going up against some of the biggest blockbusters yet to come.. Like Monty Python and like Mr.Bean, these kind of movies just don't do that well.. I mean when BEAN came out, it made what?? Anyone know??? I think it was out of theatres in like 2 weeks because it performed so poorly and that movie showcased British Humor.. Perhaps, they should consider releasing "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" in a smaller release like in Arthouse type of theatres with a smaller screen count.. The Arthouse type of theatres are more catered for something like this movie..

Well this is definitely not the 1st Summer movie I would even be remotely hyped about seeing and I think it's toast no matter what month they release it in...

Uh, I think if you look hard enough, I've actually been right more than once.. TEAM AMERICA was another one I predicted when I was at RT to suck total ass at the box office and it did.. Besides Baba, Come on?? You REALLY think this movie is gonna connect with the general moviegoer not hip on British Humor or have never seen or read these books(if there is more then 1 volume) in a summer filled with the Mega Blockbusters we have coming up??? Really??? I just think it's gonna get lost in the shuffle of it all and no one will care about this unless they release it in an arthouse type of movie theatre that caters to these sort of films..
