2001 and Dr. Strangelove are brilliant. The Shining is great. l think that's all l've seen, so yeah...l like him...:oops:

The Shining is nothing to be afraid of if you've seen Full Metal Jacket.

I respect 2001, but I hate the hell out of it. I can't sit through it. Yes I get what it's about.

Dr. Strangelove would be in my top 20. I also love A Clockwork Orange, Full Metal Jacket and The Shining.

Barry Lyndon is a fantastic film that very few (these days) have seen.

Spartacus is likewise fantastic.

Tom Cruise and Kidman are wonderful in Eyes Wide Shut but the film is in a large sense a disaster. It was shot over the couse of years and the lack of focus in the film is incredibly apparent.

I dislike Lolita. Respect it... but...

I unfortunately have not seen anything before Spartacus.
