I have always loved The Passion and I'm an atheist. Of course I haven't seen it since I was 15 or so, so my opinion could possibly change but looking at it as just a movie, I found it pretty great.

I love POTC because it does reach me on a spiritual level though I'm not a church goer I still believe in Jesus so it really affects me emotionally when I watch that film.

The Passion is an amazing film on a technical level. The cinematography, the costumes, the sound. It is a spectacle made with real vigor and vision. And though I do not believe Jesus Christ died for my sins, etc., etc., I am, I would say, moved by Mel Gibson's clear and intense conviction.

I'm an agnostic verging on athiesm (and I was a sworn athiest in 2004), and I love The Passion of the Christ. It's a story that I have heard for many years, and Mel Gibson brought it to life for me, and with such passion and grit. That was certainly an experience seeing that at the cinema.

nghdasasfl list is pretty nice and seems to be the one I most identify with.

I am appalled at myself right now seeing that LA Confidential was not on my list. That is easily in my top 25 films of all time. I absolutely love that film

Kudos on adding Big Hero 6, Home Alone, Mrs. Doubtfire, Monsters, Inc., The Incredibles, Gravity, Silver Linings Playbook, and all of the Lord of the Rings'. I feel that it's a list from a fairly inexperienced film watcher. That will change, and your taste will grow too.
