In Living Color: Season 3

D

This show has terribly dated and is just not very funny anymore.

Though, these following skits held up and made it worth the rental and deserve A's and B's.

Vera De Milo Milk Commercial
Vera De Milo in The Fist that Rock's the Cradle
Elvis Sighting in the Woods (Damn)
Sally Struthers Feed the Children
Death
Fire Marshall Bill
Richard Simmons
a few others.

Out of 3 full DVD's with hours upon hours of viewing, I expect more than 10 or so good clips. I had to fast forward through much of the DVD's out of sheer boredom.

American Graffiti - B-

While it's fun watching Harrison Ford, Ron Howard, Richard Dreyfuss and others very early in their careers, this movie didn't age well. It still has some fun moments.

Movie with creepy guy in the attic? Cool. You gave me an idea of a movie to add to my Netflix lineup this week.

Nice man, I think you'll like this one. It's directed by Danny Boyle, and is rather similar to A Simple Plan, but very well made in it's own way.

What A Girl Wants- B

Very cute movie. Amanda Bynes is charming, and its a harmless family film with some laughs, and a good enough storyline to keep you interested throughout.

great movie, Very enjoyable, funny but not laugh out load, great performence by all the cast actually, i thought Sandra Oh did a fantastic job as well, my favorite scene was when Sandra's character beat the crap out of Hayden church!! fantastic!!

AND i really think its VERY overrated!

How could it be very overrated? You can't get very much higher than a B+ :???:

STAR WARS EPISODE I: THE PHANTOM MENACE - 8/10 (B+)
Well, I haven't seen this in a long time, probably not since theaters. I finally bought it a couple weeks ago and watched this last night. I liked it a lot more than I thought it would. It wasn't amazing or anything but it's really underrated. It was a fun flick.

**ORDER OF THE STAR WARS MOVIES**

1. THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK - 10/10 (A+)
2. A NEW HOPE - 9/10 (A-)
3. RETURN OF THE JEDI - 9/10 (A-)
4. STAR WARS EPISODE 1: THE PHANTOM MENACE - 8/10 (B+)
5. STAR WARS EPISODE 2: ATTACK OF THE CLONES - 8/10 (B+)

I think STAR WARS is definetely one of the best movie series in the history of cinema.

Excellent, it has its weak spots though. I'd still say The Village is Shyamalan's best film.

House of Wax -- 4.0/10 (C-), on the verge of a D+.

Simply terrible, one of the worst "horror" films of the year, behind only Boogeyman and Alone in the Dark. I can get more scares walking around my house in the dark, and that is not saying much. When Paris Hilton is the best thing about a movie you know you are in trouble.

Star Wars A-

I gotta say, while it doesn't detract from either, I really did notice how this film is much smaller in scale then the prequels. They're grand films about political intrigue and movements being made on a universal chess board, whereas this was much more small scale, sit back and have a great time enjoying it fun. Han Solo really made me think of Sawyer from Lost a lot, they do have pretty similar roles when one thinks about it. I don't know how the redone versions compare as I can't remember them specifically, but this was the original without any new digital effects or new scenes added. Overall, it was still great fun, but I'd still take Raiders of the Lost Ark over it easy.

Me, too. I'm going to buy The Signature Collection within a few days.
Yesterday I saw 'The Birds'.
