Re: Top 5 Thread (Historical Epics: Page 6)
I keep finding the chosen topics to be a little too broad and then I don't bother. We need something like "John Wayne movies" (just as an example). No wiggle room there.

Re: Top 5 Thread (Historical Epics: Page 6)
I suggest the next topic to be, "Movies You Love that Yoshue Hates." Try getting around that one, yosh.

I wanna see top five performances from a child actor! I've gone through them, That was one of my next ones up. Since it's being requested, that will be the next. Im going to wait a lil bit on John Wayne as I just did Westerns and want to give it some time.

If you are talking suggestions, depending on how you want to split it up, a 4 part suggestion: Favorite Actor and Actress, both up to 25 years ago and older than 25 years ago.

You should do Fav '80s Comedy at some point.
A Fish Called Wanda had better be on everyone's list or you need to eff off and DIE!

1. Lawrence of Arabia 2. Sparticus 3.Ben- Hur 4.The Bridge On The River Kwai 5. Patton
Ben-Hur is a decent movie yet so iconic and EPIC!!
Its the film that comes to mind when you here the word EPIC.
Like how you think of Casablanca when you hear the word Classy.

A Fish Called Wanda had better be on everyone's list or you need to eff off and DIE! Airplane owns any comedy of the 80s. No Spoof has ever been as great

Re: Top 5 Thread (Historical Epics: Page 6)
i like AIRPLANE'S simple yet random comedy... The funny scene is when the pilots are sick and no one knows how to fly a plane. The guy says, "Use the instruments..." One guy starts playing a trumpet, the other a flute the other a violin!!!

A Fish Called Wanda had better be on everyone's list or you need to eff off and DIE! Love that movie. For a movie with comedy, Wanda or Back to the Future. I laughed so much at both of those movies. Otherwise, though Airplane is probably tops, I will add Ghostbusters to the above-mentions
