Anchorman wouldn't be anywhere near my top 100 list, but it is one of the most quotable movies from 2004.

Milk was a bad idea!

Now, I'm off to see Ocean's Twelve. Comment and/or bash away! :D

Yaaaaaaaaay Pirates! Booooo se7en. I think I already mentioned why in Torri's section. I just don't quite see everyone's fascination with it. I have to admit that four the first half hour I was really into it, and kinda scared, and then the scenarios 1.Got repetitive, and 2.bot squeezed in. The anticipation and suspence dropped after the third one because it took 3/4 of the movie to get through 3 and then the last 4 are quickly shove into the last 1/2 hour as though they were an afterthought.

Speed was cute. Not my fave, but I enjoyed watching it once. Got a little irritated by how much of the city (bridge, tracks etc.) kept being broken. I think their were tons of jokes about that afterwards if I remember correctly. But the idea was fun if not the greatest execution.

Minority was so-so. I think it could have been a bit better if it hadn't just been pushed as a Tom action vehicle. Fell a little flat for me, but I didn't mind it.

Anchorman huh? I haven't seen it but Ferrel is one of the funniest guys out there right now. He was hilarious in Zoolander and Dodgeball. I forgot Zoolander, shoot. That would have been pretty close to my top 100 too. I feel like I should have actually done a list ahead of time, since I'm now catching all these other movies you guys are posting that are really good too. I heard mixed reviews on Anchorman, what did you like about it?

Anchorman was one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. I laughed so hard in that movie, and so much, I loved it.

There's another Will Ferrell movie in my top 100, even better than Anchorman, though.

 You have my top film of all time right near to one of my bottom 10.

Which one is that?

I swore that if you couldn't easily figure it out I'd.....um......roll my eyes.

So there! :P

Fight Club = Pure genius

Blazing Saddles = Boring pointless crap

IMO of course.

Well, 100 movies I really liked, hehe. If I wanted a list of my real top 100, I'd be sitting at my computer for a month. It's also hard to remember some older movies (before 1990), mainly because I haven't seen that many older movies. I'm from the newer generation. Yes, I know torrino is too, but still! These are completely random. Let's begin the bashing! :D

#1-10

8 Mile (2002)
Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgandy (2004)
Collateral (2004)
Heat (1995)
Minority Report (2002)
Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003)

Speed (1994)
Scarface (1983)

Where are the Matrix films? I thought they were your top three. :x

Great so far IMO. Seven of those ten would be on my top 100 list. Two others in my top 150. Anchorman, well.....no, just no.

I did them out of order. You'll see Reloaded and Revolutions sometime soon, but The Matrix will be either #100 or #101. :D

Liked all of those movies except for the Kill Bills (which I haven't seen), Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back and Bad Boys II (which was a ghastly, atrocious piece of high-gloss dreck).

The original Dawn was better, but the remake was fun too! ;)

Nice choices with Aliens, Fight Club, Kill Bill, and Spider-Man.

Post faster, damnit! ;)

My list is basically done, I'm just trying to change a few things. Also, waiting for some comments.

If Libs wants to go now, I'll wait, but I gotta go before Friday, because I'm leaving on Friday for vacation. Up to you guys.

Out of those, all I really cared for was Independence Day and Aliens. But, not horribly bad movies :P

Will Ferrel isn't in Dodgeball.

Oops. Meant Old School. You read my posts too closely. Anyone who does that realizes I have absolutely no clue about what I'm talking about. Thank God not too many people do that...

Hey I've seen Scream and actually thought it was pretty good. I saw it in theatres as part of an all night Horror Film Festival the day before Halloween. It was much better than I know what you did last summer.

Oh Zingy, Matrix doesn't make it up there but the sequels do? Tsk tsk tsk. I thought the first one was by far the best of the three.

Wait, what? The Matrix is my favorite movie of all time. That's why I'm saving it for last. I thought that's what dolce did with La Dolce Vita, so I would do the same for my fav, The Matrix.

I don't think La Dolce Vita is dolce's favorite. She just wanted to give it #101. ;)...I don't remember it being on her top 30 list at BOM either...

 Good Grief Torri....hehehe....I hope that wink is an inside joke I'm not getting??? YOU DON"T THINK LDV IS MY FAVORITE MOVIE? I was pretty sure everything about my on-line persona would lead you to believe the contrary, including my screen name and my obsession with Anita.

Guess not.

@ZINGY...Ok, that makes more sense. I thought you meant 101 as though it was just shy of making your list, not that you held it in such high regard.

@Zach. I think later on you should do a top 100. You've piqued my curiosity about your tastes with your comments. Interested?

Zing, great choice with I,Robot. that one is in my top 100, probably towards 90-100 if I had to rank them, but still an excellent film.

I've made it up to 72 on my list for later, but I can't seem to find films to put in.... hopefully I will remember some of my other favorites that seem to have gone missing from memory.

My utmost respect for anyone that realizes FOTR was so good. I've already mentioned I think its easily the best of the three. Are the other two up there Zingy? Or is this your favorite one as well?

Dude, Where's My Car = Underrated

Somehow I knew you'd love enemy of the state. I actually thought it was a good movie...made better if you see The Conversation (Gene Hackman playes a surveillance expert) because this is Hackman intentionally revisiting one of his best roles over. Its a completely different movie (Conversation that is) but you might find it interesting because it is the basis for Hackman's role in Enemy of the State. It was the first movie I listed in my top 101 as, so I'm plugging it of course.
