And, yeah, I did say it was a disappointment at the time. After watching it again, it did suck.

Also, Zing, it's funny how strict you became with grading recently, heh. I remember, back in 2003/2004 yu had about 7-8 movies each year with A+.

Yeah, I've gotten more strict. I learned to tell the difference between a favorite and an extremely entertaining flick.
The Skeleton Key? I had that at a B, and dropped it to a B-. The more I thought about it, the more I realized that the whole movie was good for me just based on the 'twist.' Otherwise, it was just decent.
Boogeyman sucked. It deserves to be off the list.

Well, my prayers have been answered. Not only is North Country now the best film I have seen this year, it is EASILY the best film I have seen this year. An easy A. Loved it. Theron totally impresses me again. Wow. She's awesome, and definately not a one hit wonder. She knows how to act. She also knows how to do emotion without at all going overboard. *Gush* And the whole cast was freaking impressive. AND the editing and patient pace of the film built up some wonderful tension at some crucial moments.
