Two best films of the year are unexpected surprises from directors at opposite ends of the spectrum as far as respect from critics.

1. The Island - Simply brilliant mix of intelligence and action. Michael Bay delivers. I've already seen it twice and it was just as good, if not better the second time around.
2. Batman Begins - Almost the same could be said for this film, substituting Christopher Nolan for Michael Bay.

The problem I had with Fantastic Four is that it was incredibly fun to watch the first time, and then on the second viewing, it was still incredibly fun, but not without noticing how many better films there were.

Oh, well, bring on Stealth!

I haven't seen it for a second time, but I will shortly. Hopefully, the experience can hold up for me :razz:
