What the? There isn't a Mr. and Mrs Smith thread in 6 pgs!
That does it, the count down to March 4th begins now. I am sooooo excited and I can't believe I went back six pages already and couldn't find a thread on the spy couple from heaven. Shame on y'all. I don't care if this movie has zero plot but alot of smoothly delivered double entendre one-liners, tuxes, and black evening gowns. Its going to rule. It going to be what i've been wanting from Bond for the last few installments. w00t! Can't wait! \:D/

I cannot wait to see it! I'm a huge Angelina Jolie fan, and I love her as an actress, and I think she is so damn gorgeous. This looks like True Lies to me, and I absolutely loved that movie. The trailer delivered in everyway for me. It was funny, had great action, and looked like a good story. I don't think I'm going to be disappointed by this. You heard it here first Mr. And Mrs. Smith will make more than $100 million. I'm going to say $125 when all is said and done, or maybe even $150 if it has decent reviews, a good theatre count, and enough buzz and marketing going for it. I hope it isn't another bomb for Miss Jolie.

Pinky, lets go opening night! I am sooooo excited. This is the first must-see of the year for me. Only two weeks. w00t!
Hey Mav, I like Bond, I just want him to return to the dialogue style I'm pretty sure we're going to get from the Smiths. You know, waltzing, with a rose between her teeth, calmly, as stuff blows up in the background. Going to sit by the bar and get some drinks. "Shocking....simply, shocking."

War of the Roses is awesome. Danny DeVito is such a criminally underrated director.

Goldfinger is a favorite of mine. I thought Pierce Brosnan had some great moments like that. Nobody will ever be as good as Connery in the role. Brosnan was as close as it gets.
Brad Pitt is no James Bond. I think Angelina Jolie will pull it off better than he will.

Yes he is. Another film of his that I loved was Matilda. That was such a great movie, very underrated if you ask me.

Dolce is joking, she must be. Either that or she rewatched Troy one too many times and has Pitt on the brain.
Mr and Mrs Smith is the most obvious-that-it's-going-to-be-a-clunker since Alexander.

I wouldn't go that far. It might be, but I LOVED Die Another Day, Goldeneye, and Tomorrow Never Dies.

March 4th? Is that a typo, or did they bump up the release date? I'm assuming it's the former, because there's no question that it'll bomb if it opens in March.

No, according to various websites its release date in the USA is June 10th. There is no change that I can see as of yet. If it was released in March though it would bomb so hard, especially considering it has a budget of $100 million. ](*,)

Do you have these blonde moments often?
Batman will have something to say about it justifying that large budget, so for it's sake, I hope they offset that cost somewhere.

Goldeneye was very good Bond, his best, But Mr. And Mrs. SMith will still beat that. Reason #1: Brad Pitt.

I somehow get the feeling that you haven't seen every Bond movie.
Brad Pitt's not exactly a ringing endorsement for a quality movie.

I dunno, it looks cool but I could see it dissapointing big time. Not a lot of guys like to go movies where the opposite gender kicks the shit out of us (just look at the four latest movies that follow that formula, Elektra, Catwoman, Tomb Raider 2, Charlies Angels, all turkeys). And yeah, Jolie really is box office poison. Hopefully it'll breakout, but for now I'd guess it'll be this summer's mix between a dissapointment and bomb, ala Riddick, Charlies Angels 2, or Tomb Raider.

Die Another Day is easily the worst Bond ever.
