Darth Vader picture from episode 3
Doood, it looks like the same old suit as the old trilogy. They didnt do any new makeover for the suit, it looks like the same costume from the 70s . They didnt enhance the suit like they did for the new Batman . Unexciting pic I say
<sarcasm off>

When i saw AOTC for the 2nd and third time, i thought hayden actually did a decent job of what he was meant to portray in the movie.

Doesnt look cool like this
The Darth Vader suit is trapped in the 70s and its understandable since its a prequel. What I dont understand is all the criticism against the Batsuit and the Bat Tumbler since its also a prequel

Nah, i would have changed it a bit. Those "lights" and "switches" or what those gizmos are i would have removed for instance.

I loooooooooooooooooove the costume of Bats. But there are things about it that annoy me too. Like its neck. And the cape and the body suit dont match .... would have prefered it greyer or darker. but thats fine, cause when they do the touch ups in the actual movie (from the footage i've seen) the costume rocks. I'm getting sick of these promo pics. I wanna see pictures of bat doing things that hes famous for (like the image they showed recently with him on top of a roof, him hanging from upside down to grab the guy from the trailer, him sitting with a cape all around him .... now thats cooooooooool

Yeah but the difference is there wasn't a Batman: A New Hope released 1977.
I don't have anything against the Batsuit and Tumbler mind you.

I say don't mess with it. SOmehow, Darh decided to take his superior suit from episode 3 and switch to a more older suit in episode 4 is too mindboggling for people, specially pot heads.

I think you missed my point. What Im saying is that people were criticizing the batmobile and the Bat Costume from Batman Begins because it didnt look MUCH MORE sophisticated than the previous Batman movies. They missed the point was that Batman Begins is very much a prequel the same way that shitty Darth Vader costume looks now

Arrghhh!! Stop calling it a prequel!! Its not!! its not!!
Prequel implies the same timeline. no, not even that. it MEANS the same timeline.
The events in Batman Begins do not eventually lead up to the events in Batman89, Returns, forever and Robin.
Its a restart. a complete new take!

Fine by me. Lets pretend that Batman never had Bat nipples. Lets pretend that Prince never dressed up as the Joker in his music video and did the Bat Dance. Lets pretend that Michelle Pfieffer's costume never took place and that Halle Berry was the first original Catwoman on screen. Pretend that all those Batman never took place. <wipes out everyones memory>

Oh i see.
I for one don't have any problems with the look of the batsuit and batmobile from the Burton movies so i'm clearly not one of these people.

Yes, thats the plan. Except for the part that about Halle Berry. Soon, we'll have to wipe that out too.

What the... why do people want the costume changed!? Then the rest of the sane Star Wars fans would wonder why the hell it changed. It would make no sense towards the continuity of Star Wars. But, then again, Georgie thought it would be super to switch around the original trilogy to make the new trilogy go with it a bit better.

Because it looks like gumby is wearing the costume. Not some 200 lb muscle man. Gumby in a costume strikes fear on everyone. Anyone figured out what does button do on Darth Vader's halloween costume?
Hayden needs to hit the gym and pack up some muscles to fit in the costume better

 Uh, you do realize that this leads into EPISODE IV which has a Retro look to it don't you??? Lucas did this for a reason along with Christensen's Retro hair look from the 70's.. It's called CONTINUITY and if he didn't do it this way, then you'd complain about that and now your complaining that he did do it this way.. It actually ties together Beautifully and makes me wonder whether Lucas wil in fact pull this off and tie this together nicely despites some people's skepticism??? What way did you want to see Darth Vader's suit??? That's the way it's supposed to look..

Jesus Christ Nitpicker.. ](*,) Does the Phrase: "He's more Machine Now than Man" ring a bell??? Christensen doesn't have to work out... If he's supposed to be more machine, Bionic or Cyborg like, then you can get by with this...

Because that new Darth Vader looks very flat chested and is in need of a work out. The old Darth Vader at least yo0u can tell looks very intimidating and strong but he doesnt look like some skinny guy in the costume. So what happend did the Sith Lord start pumping Vader with steroids and vitamins?
