Post First look of Iron Man "grey" suit
As i understand it (haven't read the comics), the grey suit is supposed to be the one Iron Man wore before putting on his real suit, basically a prototype. Just to explain for those that didn't know. ;)

I really like it, the bulkiness. Looks cool.

looks to me like the script will take a batman begins' realistic approach .. starting off the guy with something bulky and cranky and letting him refine things over time.

Works for me. The picture makes me happy.

But imagine it in a barfight. so many scenes of big drunks punching its chest and breaking their fists. Hilarity!

Looks fantastic. For those who don't know Iron Man debuted in this armor in his first story. It wasn't until his second story that the armor that we are familiar with debuted. Here's a picture I found of it from the comics:

Looks pretty faithful and accurate to the comic.

This is where rocket boots would help, does ironman have rocket boots? i'm a tad clueless since the nearest comic store to me is 190 miles away so my knowledge is pretty poor.

I have no idea which ones are Marvel, which ones are DC, nor do I care.

I just didn't like that much BB.

I like it.

This and Captain America are the only superhero movies left I would actually want to see.

I like the realistic "Begins" approach. However, I do think the head needs tweaking - it just doesnt look right.

So can we presume he will progress to the red/yellow armour in this film?? Or will that be left for a sequel?

I guess I was never really a big IRON MAN fan growing up when it came to anything and everything that was MARVEL, but I get the feeling this will do DAREDEVIL like numbers in the end: A movie strictly for hardcore fans of this and everyone else won't care.. I think Robert Downey Jr. is awesome though....
