Remember, I asked - Which of these movies is your favorite - I bet you some people will go for his action clunkers.
To each their own.

My favourite would be Raising Arizona closely followed by Red Rock West and Wild At Heart. I also admit to having a bit of a soft spot for his fluffy feel good flicks like Guarding Tess, Peggy Sue Got Married and The Family Man. On the other end of the spectrum, I've never been a fan of his action roles, and Adaptation's one of my least liked films of the last decade.

I agree on Red Rock West that I almost brought it up into the main group but then I didn't think alot of people who known about that movie.

Con Air and Raising Arizona. I like Con Air for the same reasons some people like Armageddon.

This guy is one of my favorite actors. He's not necessary the best actor, but he picks damn good roles and has some kick-ass movies. My favorite from him is Face/Off, and some other favorites include Con Air, Gone in Sixty Seconds, and The Rock.

I agree. He keeps making these loud stupid action adventure films which make him a lot of money but sure don't show off his acting skills.
I hated the Rock by the way. But hey, to each his own.

People like slamming Cage for his action film because he doesn't have to show off his acting abilities. I disagree with that. Compare his performances in Face/Off, The Rock, etc. with people like Vin Diesel, Van Damme, Segal, etc. Cage's action performances suddenly improve a lot. And I'm not a big fan of his. I think he's at his best playing bizarre characters like in Adaptation and Raising Arizona.
