 Favorite Modern Scream Queen I tried this a few weeks ago at another forum that was deserted and got two replies. I shamelessly thought I'd try it here also.
Who is your favorite modern scream queen? It doesn't have to be someone who has appeared in several horror movies. Only one will do.
My choice is Michelle Pfieffer in What Lies Beneath, followed very closely by Nicole Kidman in The Others.

I forgot to add Naomi Watts for The Ring to my poll!  That's a major omission! Anyone who can help me with that? I wasn't sure how to change it, or even if I could.

I really like Sarah Michelle Gellar, she has such an excellent scream. When she saw her dead sister Elsa in IKWYDLS she has such a loud, and great scream. She is in my opinion the best, closely followed by Naomi Watts, she was brilliant in The Ring.

Anyways, to answer the question, I think Sarah Michelle Gellar and Naomi Watts are both really good.
