 Favorite Matt Damon movie? He is pretty good in every movie though Bourne movies I felt were much better at story level than because of his performance. Ford vs Ferrari was really good and I feel Behind the Candleabra was his most ambitious role in ages but my best of Damon's performance is from The Martian where without him the movie might have been horrible to sit through.

Re: Favorite Matt Damon movie? I think the Departed is his best movie, The Talented Mr. Ripley which I just saw is his best performance.
He low key works as a bad guy or morally flawed person between those two, Interstellar, The Informant!, I haven't seen School Ties but apparently he was a good dick in that. Would be cool in a MCU villain role.
Best cameo: Scotty Doesn't Know over Deadpool 2 toilet paper rant and Good Will Hunting 2: It's Hunting Season (Thor: Ragnorak's is most random)

Re: Favorite Matt Damon movie? It’s really hard not to love him in The Martian. The departed is just an overload of showcase talent, so I think his performance isn’t even in the top 5 of that movie.

Re: Favorite Matt Damon movie? I really love Matt Damon as an actor, though some of his bigger hits are not among my favorites (Martian, Bournes).
I went with Dogma, which is an all time favorite for me.
Good Will Hunting probably runner up from this list.
There's a few that weren't included in the poll that would be in my top 5 Damon: Downsizing and We Bought A Zoo. Downsizing is actually pretty close to my favorite Matt Damon movie.

Re: Favorite Matt Damon movie? Well, there are so many to choose from. Lot's of great movies and great performances.
Martian is not my favorite of the lot, but it's a great movie, and it's essentially a huge blockbuster film with two hours of Matt Damon talking to himself. A true test of star power, charisma and acting ability. So I would pick that one.
