Re: Frequent moviegoers: your most hated current trailer?
The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 trailer is definitely getting there. Particularly starting to cringe at Kurt Russell's "I'm your dad" bit. Sorry, Kurt. Also a bit tired of the trailer for The Circle. They're WAH-TCH-ING you!

Yes, The Circle is with everything. Tired of it too.

The Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul trailer is nails on a chalkboard to me.

Either Mummy trailer. They're the cure for insomnia.
I've seen Dunkirk with pretty much every movie this year excluding Smurfs or Boss Baby. I am incredibly tired of it.

The format for most trailers looks the same. I am beginning to mistake one for another.

I've seen the trailers for Blade Runner and Flatliners before every movie I've seen for the past month and a half or so. I want to see both but it's overkill.

The 1,024,367 IT trailers. I am looking forward to the film and I am trying to avoid all the marketing and promo material.

Father Figures. It's with almost every movie I've seen the past couple of months, dreadful.

Just Getting Started
Hard to believe it's from the same guy who wrote and directed Bull Durham.

Re: Frequent moviegoers: your most hated current trailer?
"You don't think you got your validation" might be the most annoying line in any movie trailer this year. #Creed2

Re: Frequent moviegoers: your most hated current trailer?
I remembered it, and then didn't find it in the trailer...but that's the second trailer where I didn't find it, as it's in the first trailer I found out. But anyway I think both Creed trailers are great actually, I'm a little hesitant to say whether the Drago side will be fleshed out in the film in the right way, the trailers are so little about that. But Adonis' angle, incl. the validation angle, looks great and I haven't enjoyed any trailers as much as those for Creed 2. Very pumped for it.

Re: Frequent moviegoers: your most hated current trailer?
I still like the trailer, but I've seen Aquaman on the past 4 theater trips (Halloween, First Man, A Star Is Born, Venom) and would be fine never seeing it again. I even try to get to the theater late, to miss as many previews as possible. But it is always one of the last ones lol.

Robin Hood, Girl In The Spider's Web, and Second Act. I want to see all of them but am sick of the trailers. Then there's Alita which is the worst because I don't even want to see it.

Re: Frequent moviegoers: your most hated current trailer?
I am tired of the trailer for The Mule. I've seen it so much, I now obsess over how Clint's pronunciation of "pecan" changes within the space of a single scene.

I got to Overlord and Beasts late enough to avoid most trailers (though I’m sure Aquaman would have been on both). Couldn’t escape it at Creed last night though. At least its a mew trailer...

Re: Frequent moviegoers: your most hated current trailer?
It doesn't look DTV quality, but I get what you mean. It looks like a specialty DTV release, such as Simba's Pride. Something that is likely to have limited appeal to the masses and therefore not worth being released theatrically.
