Agree, but I do like her though, that I always find it pleasant to see her starring in something. But aside from Mad Max, I found her recent roles in Dark Places and Fast 8 very poor.

And the thing with Atomic Blonde is that the trailers have looked pretty terrible.

They're going for that whole realistic Haywire fighting. But it looks really lame in this film. Probably because Theron is no Carano, so the fighting looks staged and light, and those guys are just waiting to be hit. Sure, they flail their arms about and make grunts, but that is just time-wasting because Charlize is missing her cues.

The scene where she takes on the guys in the stairwell looks a little off, but the rest looks pretty cool. Not to mention I love the style of the film and the music seems fantastic. Should be a great soundtrack.

Yeah the stairwell scene is what made me iffy about this. Not a big fan of the style and I like the atmosphere of the movie more than music/score.

Every comment is about that stairwell scene. I think they're really hoping that scene sells the movie. But it looks so crap.

I can't believe War for the Planet of the Apes is leading the poll - Rise of the Planet of the Apes was good, but Dawn of the Planet of the Apes was crap, and this next sequel is by the crap one's director.

I thought both were very good films, and I look forward to the final chapter if this trilogy. While it wouldn't call this a great trilogy as the likes of the Lord of the Rings, this is only a notch right below, with it's biggest strength being consistently engaging for nearly 4 hours so far. Rise and Dawn most likely rank highest on my best reboot and best sequel to a reboot lists.

It was fun to see Apes kick some ass in the first film, but the actual downfall of the human race is not really pleasant viewing, IMO.

I do think this makes less than Dawn. 180-190m sounds right.

I'd prefer if they killed all the humans.

Yes, that would definitely help.

This guy is especially irritating:

Yeah, I didn't enjoy him in the previous movie, despite my liking of the film as a whole. I do prefer the first. But Caesar needs all the screen time.

I've have liked Jason Clarke since Dawn actually, I was a bit skeptical before and also of his casting in that. But he's great actually and loved him in Everest too.

I loved Rise, but was kind of disappointed by Dawn despite still enjoying it. This is just more of the same.

As I said with ScarJo, one "fuck you" doesn't change the fact that she has a scrotum. ;)
