to me, the problem is, i dont know how well people know wonderwoman's environment. I mean, we know who she is but most of the exposre is through her being with other heroes or just as a symbol. Do we really want to see her battling Ares and the other Greek Gods?

Wait, you don't understand why superheroines tend to be scantily clad?
On another note, the only way this will make money if there's some unexpected quality which generates unexpected WOM.

Yes yes .. i know .. men read them. But since i've gotten into comics, i've realized how deep their stories, their characters and everything are. They're not comparable to popcorm movies and shit. Yet, these women are always dressed up like they'll come and give me a lap dance.

It's not the best battle armor either.

Jennifer Connelly's one of my all-time favourite beauties, but she'd be an awful Wonder Woman. She's got the face and dark hair, but not the figure (although in her Rocketeer days, I'd be inclined to agree).
I honestly believe that the best Wonder Woman would be Jessica Biel:
She's built, she's beautiful, she's perfect.

It's going to be really hard to get this right. Wonder Woman is a unique character. Making a Wonder Woman movie has some of the same challenges of a Thor movie, but it could be good. The filmmakers better really be familiar with their subject and love it.
As far as casting, Jennifer Connelly is a terrible choice. She's too delicate to be an Amazon princess. I always thought Catherine Zeta Jones would be great but she's starting to get too old.

wonderwoman MUST look like a woman, not a girl. none of this Biel shit. wonderwoman is not about just looks. Shes a freaking warrior and a complex character whos personality is very much shown in her physical look.

As long as they kept the original tv theme song for the movie, Im happy with it. The song "Wonder Woman" ranks up there with Nah nuh nah nuh Batman
"Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman"

Wonder Woman is not your everyday average girl, she's got to be of a certain physical stature. She's an amazon, and has to look like she is a physical specimen, not just really good looking, dark har, and large breasts. Think Xena-ish , not Jennifer Connelly-ish. I would say that an unknown is the best bet to cast as her.
As far as Joss Whedon, he's a good choice because he's a fan of comics, but I can't understand why 20th Century Fox had no faith in him. He's currently writing Astonishing X-Men for Marvel comics, and it's amazingly well received, so it seems like he would have been a good fit for X-men 3, but they went in another direction instead.

Wonder Woman
Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman. All the world's waiting for you, and the power you possess. In your satin tights, Fighting for your rights And the old Red, White and Blue. Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman. Now the world is ready for you, and the wonders you can do. Make a hawk a dove, Stop a war with love, Make a liar tell the truth. Wonder Woman, Get us out from under, Wonder Woman. All our hopes are pinned on you. And the magic that you do. Stop a bullet cold, Make the Axis fall, Change their minds, and change the world. Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman. You're a wonder, Wonder Woman.
