I'm going to um, put my cards on the table right now...CLIFFHANGER, RAMBO, TANGO & CASH, LOCK UP, COBRA, COP LAND, DEMOLITION MAN, ROCKY I-V, and OVER THE TOP are movies I know and love. Stallone is an action movie God and sad as it is, he hasn't had a hit movie since CLIFFHANGER in '93 (Spy Kids 3 doesn't count). However, SHADE is a return to grace for the Itallion Stallion. I'm surprised this movie didn't get rereleased or gone wider seeing as how Jamie Foxx is the "it" guy in Hollywood right now and poker is sweeping the nation.

SHADE is a fast-paced, sylish, well-acted movie that would make a great triple feature with two more underrated gems, CONFIDENCE and POOLHALL JUNKIES.

If these keeps getting pushed a couple pages back before anyone can look at the films, you might consider asking for it to be transferred to the slower indie/foreign forum. Lets see if it gets alot of love here.

I've never heard of this movie but the caste is quite deep. How does Stallone's action scenes fit into this? It seems like something that doesn't really leave the card table, like Croupier a bit? Have you een that one? How does it compare?

I haven't seen CROUPIER so I can't compare the two, but as for Stallone...he's not the action hero. He doesn't beat anyone up, get shot at or anything like that. However, there is some non-poker action in the movie. It's basically CONFIDENCE with a poker backdrop.
