$50M is completly ridiculous!! No it's not.. Are you telling me that a well done Horror movie like this one looks to be has no chance humanely possible of grabbing both adults and teens instead of just teens in enabling this to be a big weekend grosser??? I think alot of you are gonna be shocked at how big this opens up to.. If a cheesy PG-13 Horror like The RING can open up well, there's no reason why this movie can't do it, R-Rating or not...
It doesnt matter if the film is well done, many movie had been extremely well done and not even make $50M in their entire gross!
and the R-rating will definetly have an affect on the BO gross, if the movie was PG-13, it could have a chance of making a $40M opening...

Nope.. This movie is gonna be the one that ushers back in the R-Rated Horror movies after Analysts see just how big this one will open up to and shock everyone over it.. You watch.. It will be the Horror movie that dares studios to start being bold again and make em realize that YES, a well done, skillfully crafted R-Rated Horror movie can pull it off if it brings in both demographics of adults and teens and not just limit it to teens and be butchered for a PG-13 Rating....

Great trailer, dont know how serious people can take Ryan Reynolds though, Mr. Van Wilder will have his work cut out for him.

I won't be.. Just wait until closer to the films release and The History Channel begins running the Amityville Horror Documentary along with the release of the DVD Box Set that has the Documentary on a 4th Disc and hype rolls in for it.. I won't be wrong... R-Rated Horror is on it's way back courtesy of this movie that will Roll all over The RING II and make fans say fuck PG-13 Horror.. =D>

Hate to break it to ya, but this is the year 2005.. 95% of all households now have either Satelitte TV or Digital Cable and if you have either one of these 2, you have The History Channel Baba, otherwise your living in a cave if you don't.. The History Channel is very well known just like Discovery Channel..

I also get a tv channel called Esign. Never watch it. Channels like History Channel are catered tastes.
