Post A Review of "ALIENS OF THE DEEP" = PLANT

I'm sorry, but better action than TERMINATOR II??? :-k That was the final bottom quote toward the bottom of this review that I skimmed through very quickly, primarily cause it just doesn't even sound remotely interesting like "Ghosts of the Abyss"... As I see roots protruding from this review, it prompts me to scream "PLANT"... What the fuck has happened to James Cameron??? We get it already.. You love the Ocean and are obsessed with the TITANIC, but come on James?? It's been 8 Years now and this is all you can come up with after 8 Years??? :-k

As with all directors who have a sense of artistry, while it sucks he hasn't made a real movie since Titanic, I'd rather not rush him when he's obviously not in the mood to make a feature.

I'd rather wait 10 years for genius than suffer through a mediocre film every 2 years if that is Cameron's cycle.

Where does it say that it has better action than T2?! :-k

Plus Ghostboy seem to be known to the AICN staff so i doubt this is a plant.

Very well put.

The time of waiting seem to be over soon as Cameron is preparing his next live action movie. YAY!!!

A moment like that is more thrilling than anything in Terminator 2, more moving than anything in Titanic. Cameron is open about his love for the ocean, and with these slightly pandering but totally enthralling documentaries (which are, I should note, made with young audiences in mind -- and young audiences will respond in full, so parents take heed), he's positioning himself as a 21st Century Jacques Cousteau. I mentioned that the title of the film was a bit cheesy, and suddenly I'm struck with a new, equally silly but completely appropriate idea: The Life Aquatic With James Cameron.

That's it for now. Thanks for reading, as always. I'm outta here.

The part I highlighted is what he said and maybe I read that out of context as far as implying more action, but nothing about this movie seems more thrilling than T2.. Once again, this screams PLANT...

I could probably see that happening, but in the end, I was merely a tremendous fan that thought the movie was simply ass kicking and I was simply dumbfounded at how everyone could read so much into a movie like this with the word "VS" in the title and pan it the way they did, especially the internet critic wannabe's...

Yea I haven't seen the movie but when I saw you talking about it every time you posted I thought "plant." But now I see you're a cool guy who sticks up for the movies he loves.

Again, you don't seem to grasp the concept of an opinion...

Sure I do, but that doesn't mean I have to agree with it either and I'm clearly not.. [-X

Yeah but often in your posts it comes across as if you would be stating facts, not opinions.
