Post A Bug's Life Club
I've watched this film about 4 times today, because the kid I am babysitting just loves it. It's such a great movie. Very underrated in my opinion. Out of all the Pixar films, this has to be one of my favorites. It never gets mentioned though. If you ask a kid what Pixar film he/she likes chances are they would be: Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Finding Nemo, or The Incredibles. I really don't know why this film doesn't get more attention, it's a really great movie, and the score is excellent. So anyway, let me know if you would like to join the club, and just support this movie, because honestly its one of my animated favorites, and I just love it!

There are two types of people.

A Bug's Life fans and Antz fans.

I'm the latter. :smoke:

Or the third type of person... A "both are overrated" kinda person.

Guess which one I am. 8-[

It's alright. I don't expect everyone to love this movie.

CGI is amazing. But the movie is a huge dud. I haven't seen Antz.

I'm sorry, but I can't join. The film is cute, but not among my favourites.

It may be Pixar's worst, but that just means it's a 9 instead of a 10. Count me in.

My brother has it on ALL THE TIME! He is 3 years old, so you can understand, but im not bored with this film, as i am with Toy Story (another of his fave's), so this film is actually good, very good. Incredibles is better, Monsters Inc is better, but Bugs Life is cool also. But i cannot join, i am sorry but im an Antz man.

P.S. I like Antz too, and can't understand why you can't like both.

You can.

But since they came out in the same year and generally appeal to different audiences based on their casting choices, I think most people tend to like one more than the other.

I find this movie derogatory towards ants.

Those precious creatures must have cried rivers when this was released.

Anyways, Antz is better.

Count me in!

A Bug's Life is way under-rated, and like most of the Pixar movies, this one gets better with each successive viewing. They are layered with countless visual and humorous treats which you discover more and more of.

I'm also a big fan of Antz and think that the insect world is ripe for animation stories, and yet it has rarely been done so far.

(I'm really surprised to hear the hate that this movie inspires in some people here - give it another chance!)
