Miramax has acquired the US rights to many movies from Shaw Brothers library in April 2003 .

Harvey Weinstein even said "My dream is to restore and release one of my favorite Asian films, King Hu's "Touch of Zen." I don't care that it is widely available on DVD. I want to do this because it is a good thing to do to."

Now, what happen to them?


The Weinsteins will leave Miramax. I am afraid that Disney will shelve those movies forever....

Well, it's Miramaxe. Ergo, the films will never be released, unless Tarantino steps in again.

I used to love these movies as a kid and I own several crappy copies. I hope some of them are given decent releases.
