 WorldofKJ Second Annual International Film Festival - THANKS *The Film Festival has beed extended one more week, through the weekend of the 23rd, in order to accomadate more viewers who have just gotten their hands on some filoms*

Attention! We are currently looking for both country/genre hosts and film goers. If you are interested in either, please mention your interest in this thread so that other hosts may plan accordingly, and film goers will learn of their options.
Hosts: You may host alone, co-host, or tri-host a country. Your responsibilities will be to provide a long list and introductory brief message about the country's films. This can be a personal statement, a way for people to learn about your interest in the country or continent, or language. It can be as easy as saying you're watched them since you were ten and like them stylisitically, or as complex as comparing film histories and technical styles. The list you provide (or provide together with your co-hosts) will be a compilation of all the movies you have seen. This will let the film goers know that they are gauranteed someone else has seen the movie they're about to watch. They may choose to watch one you haven't seen, which is fine as well, or may even look over your list(s) and recommend a film from the country that they think you might like. Filmgoers and hosts can watch as many movies as they please during the two weeks, but hosts have the additional responsibility of feeding information and maintaining dialogue with the film goers. Anyone with a deep passion for or great knowledge off a particul region, hosting is definately for you.
Film Goers: Frolocik amongst the host country threads, feel out your options, watch as many or as few movies as you wish during the two weeks. You need not stick to one particular country, but you can if you like. Please make yourself known to hosts in the threads for their countries, so that they know to look out for you, and I'm sure they'd also love to give you some recommendations or jumping off points before you begin viewing. If you know a movie they would find interesting, feel free to suggest it to them. If there are films from the region playing in current bid screen release, it would be great to hear from the newest works out there. Have fun most importantly!

Mr X is still looking for some Canadians to help him host the Canadian Film festival neostorm. If you look through the thread archive, we held the first film festival last year around this time. There were only a few people in it, because the site was only weeks into its birth, but this year we're looking to make it much bigger. In the archive you'll find the threads for several of the countries hosted, including Canada, italy, Italian Horror, Asian Horror, Spanish Film, etc. Are you interested in helping X out? Let us know.
The picture should be working as well now. I took it down temporarily, because I needed to post here to get the host thread address, but then had to edit it into the flyer and re-upload it.
Let me know what you think!

Impact...the festival is happening right here in this forum beginning October 1st!
Edit***Oh and Rogue. You can download the flyer directly onto your computer I believe. To upload onto your site. Or, if you have image linking. Its all a jpg. Everyone else, feel free to try and get the word out to other places you go. I'm going to try to approach some sites to promote it this week. Lets make this as big as possible.

JB007 and bABA also offered to host an Indian Film Festival thread.Mr. X is looking for a Canadian film co-host if anyone is interested. He very graciously offered to help me out and host it a second time after I bigged him, but I know he's busy and would like some extra help.
