So Dolce, how about having a weekly movie night? Maybe week 1 could be foreign, week 2 could be a dram (tearjerker), week 3 could be something else and week 4 could be horror?

I'm up for it.. I won't watch every weeek but i'll keep up when i can great way to get more posts in this forum.

And.. if you make sure that there are these gratuitous sex scenes Dolce and Mary are talking about, i'm sure you'll get a massive response

Heh, no, because even with the sex, people would have to read subtitles. And good 'ol americans, the one thing that will deter them from sex is having to read, so that'll never happen. j/k

I don't think it'll work every week because then we'll ned up having only two people do it if lucky. We can definately do them a bit more often. I suggest not standardizing, and just, anytime a member feels like having a movie night, start a thread, and pick a genre. Whoever wants to try that genre will respond. What do you guys think? Just be prepared for maybe being the sole, or one of two, viewer. Also, drama won't work here unless its an indie, then it would go in the other forum, but I'm game for it. I'm already lining up a fabulous selection for the next horror night which won't be specifically as tight a horror. I;m thinking Orpheus (that gardenia mentioned) Black Orpheus (the version I know), Picnic at Hanging Rock (very unsettling) or Bram Stroker's Dracula amongst other films. Could be interesting? Maybe I'll do it in two weeks rather than waiting the full length of time if I see that there is interest.
