So, on the advice of a friend of mine, I queued this film up from Blockbuster Online (I imagine it is also available on Netflix), and what a film it is.
In short, it follows a group of people who live in the subway tunnels of NYC's Amtrak lines. Interviewing them, showing how they live etc. Really, a very touching film, especially the sequence that leads to the ending. I, honestly, had no idea that this sort of a bohemian society or colony so to speak even existed in modern day America, quite an eye-opening viewing.
If you rent the DVD be sure to check out the special features with its "After the Tunnel" section detailing the lives of the residents after the movie ended.
Anyway, I'd highly recommend it. Anybody else seen it?
