Post The 8th Annual Official KJ Oscar Game.
Here it is again, the 8th Annual official KJ version of the Oscar Game. And for the 4th year in a row, I will monitor it.

For those are you who are new, or if you need a refresher, Here are the rules....

Here is how the scoring works.... You must RANK all the nominees for every category.

If your top ranked film in a specified category wins, you get 5 points. If the film that wins was your second choice prediction, you'll get 4 points and so on. Here is an example.

BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR

1. Christian Bale in “The Fighter”
2. Geoffrey Rush in “The King's Speech”
3. Mark Ruffalo in “The Kids Are All Right”
4. John Hawkes in “Winter's Bone”
5. Jeremy Renner in “The Town”

If Bale wins, I receive 5 points. If Rush wins, I'll get 4 points. If Renner wins, I'll get 1 point.

For those categories that have 3 nominees. The first choice gets 3 points if correctly predicted. The second 2 points, and the third, 1 point. Every category (yes, all 24) is up for prediction. So, the more categories you predict correctly, the more points you are gonna get.

Post Re: The 8th Annual Official KJ Oscar Game.
I did a quick tally (hopefully my math is right), so here is what I got...

Mike = 110 (Winner due to getting one tie-breaker right)
Viper Rodgers = 110
President Palmer = 107
Price = 107
Lecter = 105
Tyler = 105
Be.Ready = 104
Trixter = 102
Gun = 94
Rev = 87

Congrats Mike! (Even if Banksy was there, you would have been closer on the length!)

Seconded :). Thanks. I'm sure it wasn't fun.

Yes. Thank you very much. But you just did a small adding mistake.

This is the correct tally:

Price = 107
Mike = 0
Viper Rodgers = 0
President Palmer = 0
Lecter = 0
Tyler = 0
Be.Ready = 0
Trixter = 0
Rev = 0
Gun = -5 (the Mulligan penalization)

No need to thank. I'm glad I can help. :yes:

I knew I would screw up the math somehow.. ;)

But yeah, it was my pleasure to tabulate it all. I would rather lose to a tie-breaker than by one point. Everyone, besides a couple of us :whistle: , did really well this year.
