It's not a bigger lock than ROTK (assuming you can't get bigger than 100%). For the visual effects category, it sure as hell is. The one constant in all the early reviews is that the cgi is photoreal and quite a leap beyond anything before it. ROTK didn't even have better effects than Two Towers.

Therefore my perspective on your lack of perspective is probably irrelevant.
