I didn't know about the dismemberment bit.
What exactly is a personalized heaven?

I remember there being plenty of "scenes" in the book with Susie exploring her personal heaven and talking about how it expanded when she thought of new things, and whatnot. There's also the woman who acts as Susie's "mentor" so to speak up in her heaven, and also her heaven-friend. If Jackson doesn't put in "heaven" scenes, then he'll be cutting all that out which was in the book. Unless I am misunderstanding what you are saying. Also, I could be a little off, I'm trying to remember the book as best as possible, it's been a while. Peace, Mike

Mark Wahlberg will find a way to fuck this up.
And if he doesn't, Peter Jackson will.

Re: The Lovely Bones: Best Picture 2009
The delay of the film came mainly because of the heaven scenes.
