Hmm, I need to rewatch Chicago. I remmeber there was a great sequence I liked, but it was not Cell Block Tango.

No Country for Old Men - Chigurh attacking Llewelyn (sp?) in the motel

The Departed - Billy's and Frank's "rat"-sequence

I'm having a hard time with films like Forrest Gump and Gladiator. It all kinda runs together.

I guess the first Gladiatorial battle?

As for Forrest Gump, the "run forrest run" bit is the most memorable but I don't think its the best in the film. I like the montage of his travels that he tells Jenny.

Him jumping the shrimp boat to greet Lt. Dan still kills me every time.

Ones not mentioned:
"I could have saved more..." - Schindler's List
"Look at me, jerking off in the shower..." - American Beauty
"Remember strawberries with cream?" - ROTK
All Claude Rains moments - Casablanca
The finale - One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest
Splat on the glasses - The Godfather
Ach-hoo! - Annie Hall

The sex, the market and the sand storm scenes in The English Patient stand out to me.

Annie and Alvy's first meeting in Annie Hall. The lobster scene.

Any scene from Casablanca.

What else?

I consider this the worst scene of the film.

Unforgiven - final shoot-out
Platoon - Willem Dafoe's death (d'uh!)
Casablanca - the ending
Return of the King - Battle of the Pelennor Fields
Braveheart - FREEEEEEEEDOOOOM!!!
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest - Murphy's death
In the Heat of the Night - THEY CALL ME MISTER TIBBS!
On the Waterfront - the ending
All Quiet on the Western Front - the soliders being shot by the rattling machine gun

While I liked A Beautiful Mind...I actually can't think of a single real stand-out scene.

I think the best scene in that movie actually belongs to Jennifer Connelly ("I need to know that something extraordinary is possible", etc.)

Also, can we count "the Titanic sinks" as a sequence?
