Interesting Campaign Posters.

So Clive Owen is going for Best Supporting and Jude Law for Best Actor...

Oscar consideration.

Yes, they're from the distributors.

There isn't any mention of Best Animated Feature on The Incredibles poster...hmm...

I think things are looking better and better for Eternal Sunshine and Sideways pulling away with BP nominations. I think Focus will have a spot, and that will either go to Eternal Sunshine or The Motorcycle Diaries. Also, Sideways' reviews can't be ignored (and, with Scorsese, Payne won't be winning the Best Director award anyways).

I noticed that, too. Surprising, considering Clive Owen was the one getting all the buzz.

That is for the better, I guess. The Best Actor category is a bit too crowded with Jamie Foxx, Liam Neeson, Johnny Depp and Javier Bardem. He has better chances at supporting. :)

Well, Eternal Sunshine is far from the best reviewed movie of the year.
And I hate it when so many movies think they can get away with that based on technicalities. There shouldn't be that phrase cuz it's impossible to have a fair winner...
Take for example Spider-Man 2 and Before Sunset during their releases...
Spiderman had more reviews in general, thus MORE good reviews.
But in proportion with amount of reviews, Before Sunset was like 99% fresh at the time (with over 90 reviews at the time, now 142, versus S2's almost 180 at the time)

So, unless a movie has 200 positive reviews, I don't think any film should use that line. This is nto an attack on Eternal Sunshine. Though I whole-heartedly believe it won't get nominated, I did love the movie! VERY creative!

Ya, I believe both Shrek 2 and Incredibles don't want to consider themselves for Best Animates Picture....
and Incredibles has 4 supporting considerations and 2 leads?????

Clive Owen was always the obvious choice for Supporting and it's a smart move cuz I'd really give the edge to him as of now, TO WIN!

Keep em comin!

Why not? It's one of the best reviewed films of the year.

I'm sure Disney is aware that such a nomination is farfetched, but it's almost become standard procedure to put every nomination possible in these ads.

Meh, I don't really like the Kill Bill for some reason.
As for Incredibles, it would be hard for it to get a Best Picture slot, let alone the acting nods...

That's a beautiful shot of Audrey Tautou.

That's also a nice ad for The Village. It's too bad it's only for score. (I haven't seen the movie yet.)

My favorite ads of those displayed are the one for Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind. "Don't Forget" - it's perfect!

He happened to be really really good as Che, though. He deserves a nomination.

It got 6 nominations, including Best Picture, and won two. Best Score and Original Song.
