You should throw a "FROST/NIXON WINS!!!" in the title just for a good laugh. I had no idea these were being announced tonight. yawn... Slumdog is gonna waltz.

Let's see if SAG will throw any suspense out of the window by awarding Slumdog Ensemble tomorrow.

Give Producers where credit is due I guess. Apparently Slumdog was supposed to be DTV. I don't know the entire story but that's being pushed hard the past week or so.

Eh, I dunno. A $530million grosser is pretty impressive too. Then again, the PGA have recently been much less about box-office than one would expect. Remember, they awarded Little Miss Sunshine over The Departed, despie that not only being bigger, but actually the race's frontrunner.

They also awarded Moulin Rouge! over Gladiator and Traffic.

I hate to be one of those people clamoring for a Surprise! Surprise! Surprise!, but would it be possible for one of the Guilds to give us a damn surprise? If the SA f-ing G go for "Slumdog" (for acting!) tonight, I'll be so disappointed.
