Yah, the classification of Birth as a fantasy film is really beyond me.

Well it's kinda supernatural.

But then you can call The Butterfly Effect Fantasy as well, I guess... Also I read that the ending leaves the viewer guessing if it all is actually supernatural.

I would. Then again, I'm really hardcore with my science fiction. Even Star Wars is fantasy to me. The Day After Tomorrow and I, Robot are really the only Science Fiction films on there.


The ending leaves me guessing whether or not I should have spent $4 on the rental :razz:

I have always insisted on Star Wars being classified as fantasy, not science-fiction.
