 Could Pan's walk away with the most wins? 6 Nods...all of which seem likely with the exception of Cinematography (Children of Men).
Should get at least 4, a chance at 5, and a slight chance at 6.
I don't see anything beating that.

Then the movie nods will come true... trust me...

I don't really think so. I think it will win 2, with an outside chance at 3.
It will win Foreign Film and Makeup. But then that's all I'm predicting. It won't win Original Screenplay or Cinematography, I think it has a slim chance at Score, and then Art Direction could be it's 3rd win, but I think that's more likely to go to Pirates or even Dreamgirls.

This could be like last year with like a 4 way tie.
At this point, Departed has the best shot of taking the most awards if it can win best picture.
Pan's and Dreamgirls are looking to take 3 each.
I think it's highly unlikely but if Babel somehow upsets it could take Picture, Editing, Score easily. And if while we're looking at worse case scenarios (  ) it could possibly upset Screenplay and Supp. Actress 
No movie will walk away with more than 4 awards. The last 2 Best Picture winners haven't either.
Has anyone considered the possibility that Dreamgirls might cancel itself out in the Song category?

Well, it'll take two at the very least, but I think Art Direction is very possible as well.
However, there's a slim chance it'll go Amelie's way. Another foreign praised crowd pleaser that was nominated for many Oscars and lost 'em all.

Well, it should have tied The Departed. Drop the cinematography win (which Children of Men deserved more) and give it foreign film and score (that guy winning again for gently plucking strings is retarded) and it gets four. Ah well, excellent showing anyway and runner-up aint too shabby.
