 Does this mean the oscars are wide open now? I still think Mirren is a lock, but now that Eddie has lost the best supp actor, does this mean that other categories are wide open? I do, and im glad it mixed it up a bit. I was starting to fall asleep!! It would be so great if Hudson loses out as well, and I'd love to see DiCaprio win for Blood Diamond. Imagine, just imagine if Mirren loses? Wouldn't that be a gas?

Was it just me or was everyone getting pretty bored. I know all categories are important but when you have five categories with people that no one knows anything about, all start the show, man, what a yawn fest. But the Arkin win makes it interesting.
