What's also interesting here is how the only mention for Letters was second runner-up in Director. Will there be a vigorous Anti-Clint crowd trying to get Scorsese the win, stronger than ever after he already beat Marty two years ago?

The Queen has gotten a few runner-ups in BP/BD along with the ones Mirren and screenplay won. Happy to see Jackie Earle Haley win the Supporting Actor win. Though, it wouldn't hurt to see more Little Children support. It's such a pity to have such a well-made and well-acted movie not be recognized. I guess it's just one of those movies.

It's weird that Little Children isn't getting love anywhere. NY should've been a place for it to show up.

I think it's clear what's going on here with all these critic awards... they haven't seen Children Of Men yet. Boy will their faces be red when they have to do the awards ceremonies all over again in a week or two's time!
